About Us
Hi there!
We're London Tailwaggers, your dog walking team in EC1. We offer walks, pet sit and training.
We grew up with doggies and love looking after them, giving them fun days out and encouraging them to socialise with other dogs.
We are certified dog trainers and can help you with any behavioural issues. We work with dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds. We use a range of training methods but positivity is always key to making your pooch a happy, healthy hound. And it starts with learning about the dog – once you know his or her temperament and personality, then you can start working on any aspects that can be improved. It’s a fun time for us and the dog too.
We pride ourselves on our patience, kindness and competence. No job is too big or too small and we can’t wait to start looking after your precious pet!

I will start this review by an objective description of my dog (or rather how he was before meeting Chris and Ieva): Léon is a 10 yo French bulldog - like all french people (myself included) he is grumpy, stubborn and doesn't like to be told what to do. I should also say that although I am a loving fur-mamma, there were a lot of flaws in his education, he is a bit antisocial AND he had never been walked by strangers before. If Léon’s case could seem at first glance a bit hopeless, Chris and Ieva came into our life and changed it for the better. I immediately felt comfortable with Chris and Ieva when I first met them. They both took the time to understand our needs and what could be done not only to ensure that Leon gets his walks when I am not at home, but also have a better life quality which is in my opinion a real game-changer. You can really see that they are both passionate about dogs. Chris has helped us tremendously on the training + training walk part. He has been nothing but patience and kindness towards Léon. He quickly understood how my dog was thinking/reacting and elaborated a clear plan to make things work. He never forced Léon to do anything but was able to gain his trust with tricks and games. Leon progressively accepted to walk away from my building (yes because at the very beginning he did not event want to walk across the hall…) and Chris adapted himself to Léon’s rhythm. As far as Ieva is concerned, I think it is fair to say that Léon is in love with her. She is extremely gentle and kind - she managed to create a walking group in which, from what I see, Léon is perfectly at ease (this was my biggest fear!). One of my neighbors even stopped me to say how much my dog seemed happy with Ieva when they were playing outside together - that says it all. I must also say that I very much appreciate Chris and Ieva’s availability and the daily update/pictures I receive. I can see Léon’s daily progresses and believe me when I say we had a long way to go. Each and every time he comes back from his walks, he has his happy face and he is exhausted in a good way. I never would have thought that my dog would be able to ENJOY being outside with « strangers » and that he would be able to play with other dogs. If I could put 10 stars I would do it without hesitation!

Absolutely delighted with the service received from the London Tail Waggers. This team is professional, accommodating, and so great with my shy dog who enthusiastically greets them at the door. So delighted I can comfortably leave my dog with this team and have zero concerns. The WhatsApp and Insta (optional) updates throughout the day are a bonus :) I wouldn’t trust my pup with anyone else.

Ieva & Lavinia coming into my life, and my dog Millie's life - is one of the best things to ever happen to us. They are caring, loving, responsible, judicious individuals, who I trust wholeheartedly with Millie. I also trust them to look after my place (and stay with Millie) when I'm away, and have every faith in them looking after my things, as if they were their own. Millie is a happy, loved, well behaved dog, and this is in no small part down to the London Tail Waggers crew. Looking at the pictures they post on instagram, of the dogs at the park and on different adventures, is always a highlight of my day. My life, and Millie's life, is greatly enriched by their presence in it.

Alas, I admit it. I think my dog loves Lavinia and Ieva more than I and to be honest I can understand why. The girls have been an absolute God send to both myself and my English Bulldog Frank. We first encountered LTW just over two years ago when Frank was a few months old. I wasn’t so concerned about the exercise, but rather the being left on his own all day getting lonely (Bulldogs are notoriously lazy and I think mine sees this as some sort of duty). I couldn’t have picked a better team. While they obviously advertise themselves as dog walkers and sitters, in my eyes they are so much more than that. The love they show ALL the dogs in their care is clearly evident and is reciprocated by the animals who hang on their every word. Frank knows they are here before they put the key in the door and rushes to greet them like it’s Christmas. They way all the dogs get along and play with each other, despite their wide variety of breeds, is also testament to how well the girls have everything under control. I can obviously only speak for myself and Frank and our experience but I honestly cannot speak highly enough about Lavinia, Ieva and their team and would recommend their services immediately to anyone looking fo someone to look after their dogs. Now, backing to reading “how to get your dogs love back”………

I cannot express how incredible both Ieva and Lavinia are. They aren’t just « dog walkers » they are much more than that. In fact, when their names are mentioned in the house, my 3yo Lab, Popcorn is on alert! It’s fair to say that Popcorn loves them more than he loves us. They have the biggest heart and love for the animals they look after. When they come back after being away for a few days (and they always have covers for the walks), popcorn cries of happiness when seeing them. Lavinia has provided training for Popcorn and we could see improvements in only a few sessions. They are both extremely patient and loving, even with dogs which are a bit crazy (like popcorn was at the beginning). They also always accommodate - When I request a last minute walk for a reason or another

I was returning home from a wedding and had the greatest pleasure of meeting Lavinia in the tube with 3 most beautiful dogs - it was the dogs that grabbed my attention as I’m an animal lover . I was totally blown to see the love Lavinia had for these beautiful creatures - I actually applaud her- as she had 3 dogs who clearly loved her and under control- she was on route to take the dogs out for an afternoon of pure fun. I honestly thought she was the fur mamma - as she had so much affection for the dogs and vice versa - when she told me she was a dog sitter/walker - I just said “the dogs & their owners are so lucky to have you “ she equally replied - she loves doing what she does snd is blessed with good clients. Lavinia was very humble and a beautiful person - is excellent with dogs and is a beautiful natured lady. If I owned a dog - I know where I’d be putting my money - Lavinia and team .

Never fear from my observations as a commuter on train- your dogs are in tbe best loving hands and guaranteed great walks and fun. It was a Sunday morning and such dedication for her clients and furbabies.
